Welcome to Mel's Kitchen

Since opening the doors to our new premises in 2016, we have grown Mel's to be one of the popular restaurants in the La Marina area. We are very proud to have won the Costa Blanca People Awards since 2013 & Tripadvisors' Certificate of Excellence since 2016.  Our philosophy is simple:- Great quality food, served by friendly, efficient staff, in a relaxed, comfortable environment.

 

Our food

We aim to serve you quality food, with a wide and varied menu choice. All of our home cooked classics are genuinely prepared from scratch using no jars or packets – exactly the same as the food we cook at home. Whether it's a traditional breakfast, a simple omelette for lunch, or a sumptuous 3 course evening meal, we believe you'll really taste the difference at Mel's.

 

Our staff

The true secret to running a successful business. Many of our staff have been with us since day one, and take personal pride in the success of Mel's Kitchen. Our staff are encouraged to interact with customers, and serve in a friendly and efficient manner. We do not want, and do not employ robots. Many of our customers visit time and again, and become personal friends. We really are incredibly proud of our team.

 

Environment

When we first took over our current premises, the place was completely gutted and refitted to our own requirements. We aim for a relaxed, homely atmosphere, which reflects our food style. Since opening, we have reinvested in our outside terrace providing ample shade, extended the kitchen area, and extended our inside space by 50% to make our environment more comfortable for our valued customers.

Detailed allergen data is held on each of our dish ingredients and we do offer vegetarian & vegan options too so if you have any special requirements, or require information regarding food allergies and intolerance, please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help.
